i live in rhode island and they dont tax food at the grocery store or clothes but if you go to like a subway or something they do tax that. we dont get taxed on shoes either. so im guessing that we only tax food that is prepared.

JamieLynn said below: "Actually you are ALL wrong.. PRODUCE, no matter where you live in the US is NOT taxed.." Well, I just moved from Nevada (where groceries are NOT taxed) to Idaho (where groceries ARE taxed). So, it depends on which state you live in.

all i can speak for is massachusetts...and yes theres no tax on food or clothing or shoes because they are necessary for living....luxury items r taxed..and i know its different in other states...and i know the taxing percentage is diff. in every state 2...and yes fast food is taxed because its prepared food and its being served 2 u...so they have 2 charge a lil xtra

Actually you are ALL wrong.. PRODUCE, no matter where you live in the US is NOT taxed.. Mcdonalds and other fastfood or restraunts DO tax. Yes taxes are different in different parts of the country but its still applies..I am ashamed to be among such an uneducated and selfcentered country.

Pauly D is right regarding food in a supermarket. They don't tax you on it.

Secondly regarding Pauly D and Angelina's relationship. Something tells me he led her on behind the scenes. Remember last season and Pauly D's so called stalker. He whined and complained about her but in the unaired clips he was lying in bed with her and chilling. He's funny like that. Complain about the chick being clingy but not really cutting them off for good.
